My students love a good history meme, and courtesy of the internet this one is perfect for 4th of July!  The plan today is just a family bbq with hot dogs, chips, bbq chicken, and potato salad.  However you plan to celebrate (wearing patriotic colors, watching fireworks, binge watching John Adams/Band of Brothers/America the Story of Us, etc) I hope you have a happy 4th of July!  See you tomorrow for Social Studies Sunday when I’ll tell you how and why I become a high school history teacher!
